Designer Perfume Or Perfume Oil, Which is Best?

!±8± Designer Perfume Or Perfume Oil, Which is Best?

Perfume oils have become very popular alternatives to the top brand designer perfumes and celebrity perfumes sold at perfume counter all over the country.

They have now gone main stream and the perfume buying public are making the most of the opportunity. They are happy that they are able to enjoy long lasting and concentrated perfumes at a fraction of the cost of the brand name ones. As a matter of fact, most lovers of perfume oils consider alcohol based perfumes as not getting enough value for your hard earned buck and a real waste of money.

Indeed, unlike perfume, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, cologne and body splash, quality perfume oil is generally longer lasting on the body.

The main reason for this is that perfume oils are more concentrated and have not been severely diluted by water and alcohol like their spray on counterparts. In fact, most eau de toilette are so diluted that they often contain around 90 - 95% fillers and only 5 -10% actual fragrance.

As a result of the above factor, although the initial impact of your perfume might seem quite substantial and strong when you spray it on; most of the scent is usually gone within 30 minutes. So, when you consider the fact that most of the perfume is dispersed into the air as you spray it on, the part that actually lands on your body is so weak from extreme dilution, that its impact is gone in no time at all.

However in recent years, there are growing numbers of perfume makers/retailers out there that are blending and selling top grade designer type perfumes oils. These are great superb oils are specially created to smell exactly like original designer perfumes. It is therefore not very surprising that most people never go back to buying perfumes once they've started using premium grade perfume oils.

Advantages of Perfume Oils

o They are long-lasting and roughly last 8 to 24 hours on the body
o They are affordable and reasonably priced because you are not paying for excessive packaging or fillers
o Has longer shelf-life span than perfumes
o They are less likely to cause allergic reactions in customers with alcohol sensitivity
o Have more intense, richer and constant scent than perfumes
o Less likely to cause headaches because they are not overpowering
o Unlike perfumes that contain alcohol, they are generally non-flammable
o Because of all the reason mentioned above, perfume lovers are able to easily build up a big collection of their favorite designer perfumes

Disadvantages of Perfume

o They are mostly overpriced and expensive to buy
o Often over diluted making them very weak so that they don't last long
o Can be very overpowering when freshly applied and faded out in no time at all
o The strong initial when they are applied can induce headaches and migraines
o The alcohol in then can cause allergic reaction in some people
o They are also highly flammable due to their alcohol content
o Their shelf life can be shorter than that of perfume oils because of evaporation
o Too much packaging are used, which not only affect the cost of the perfume but also impact on the environment in a negative way

All things considered, both perfumes and perfume oils are beautiful products that give most people a lot of pleasure one way or the other.

This is especially so if you are a perfume lover or hobbyist who like or would like to be able to make your own perfume. Unlike mass produced brand name perfumes, you can create your own perfume to be as concentrated or light as you like.

The important thing is to use quality perfume ingredients in your blends so you can come up with true to the original designer perfumes or your own signature perfumes.

Natural Beachy Olsen Waves: Remington Air Wave Hair Dryer Review

This is a review of the Remington Air Wave blowdryer. Visit the blog at www.frmheadtotoe.com and follow Jen on twitter at http Full blog entry here: www.frmheadtotoe.com Many people said this was discontinued but the Remington 3-in-1 hairdryer on has a "beach wave" attachment that does the same thing. People said they found it at Target. :) This hair dryer with wind tunnel attachment gives you natural beachy waves by spinning your hair around the wind tunnel attachment. The final look gives you an easy, unique look that may be difficult to obtain with curling irons. It reminds me a lot of the Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's hair! Products used: Biosilk Silk Therapy Remington Air Wave Earrings are from He Qi Crystal Designs hqcdblog.blogspot.com Nail polish is Claire's Mood polish in Wild/Calm (I have a video reviewing this polish) Disclaimer: This product was bought by myself and is in no way affiliated with the company. All my reviews are my 100% honest opinion.
